Research, development and innovation are key to boosting the international competitiveness of the European wine sector, supporting its green and digital transitions, and enhancing the EU’s overall resilience.
Recognising this, CEEV and its members have recently strengthened their engagement in research activities. This includes establishing a dedicated Working Committee on Research & Development, actively participating in research projects, and identifying priority topics to foster collaboration and develop future project proposals and consortia.
CEEV is currently an active partner in several EU-funded research projects, either as a beneficiary or associated partner. Its primary role in these projects consists in communication, dissemination, and contributing to policy-related objectives.
