DESCRIPTION

We are offering a unique opportunity to carry out a 4-month professionalizing internship at CEEV, to support our Brussels-based team in their daily work.

Under the supervision of the Secretary General and the Policy Directors, the intern will:

  • Monitor the development of EU policies in the framework of agri-food policy, wine regulation and environmental policy;
  • Draft reports and technical notes to the attention of the CEEV members;
  • Participate in meetings with CEEV members and/or representatives from the EU institutions;
  • Provide valuable support to the CEEV staff in general.

An internship at CEEV would allow the trainee to:

  • Develop his/her understanding and skills as regards lobbying the EU institutions;
  • Better understand the functioning of the EU institutions;
  • Finetune his/her internal and external communication

The human-scale dimension of the CEEV Secretariat ensure a formative and flexible working environment, within a multicultural, dynamic and efficient team.

REQUESTED PROFILE – SELECTION CRITERIA

Close attention will be paid to the following criteria when selecting our ideal candidate:

  • Preference will be given to students enrolled with a university and able to frame the internship within an internship contract / agreement between the student, the university and CEEV;
  • Excellent command of French and English (both spoken and written) – any other EU language is an asset
  • Good knowledge of the EU institutions’ functioning
  • Capacity to analyse a European issue and draw a relevant analysis/synthesis out of it
  • Good presentation
  • Good command of basic IT tools (Office, Outlook, Internet Explorer…) and social medias

PRACTICAL DETAILS

  • Duration: 4 months
  • Dates: 1st September – 19 December 2025 (to be discussed)
  • Compensation: No payroll – Reimbursement of expenses related to the internship, up to a capped standard amount of 15 EUR / working day
  • Schedule: Full time (38h/week), Monday to Friday. Possibility to adapt the schedule according to intern’s needs.
  • Location: CEEV headquarters (43 Avenue des Arts, 1040 Brussels), with occasional meetings outside.
